Latest Project
My latest project has been the making of a Robin Hood Costume. In this project I took inspiration from the old ballads of Robin Hood from the 14th century but stuck to the fabrics from the 10th century when it was believed Robin Hood was around. I focused on the more violent versions of the tale instead of the updated love story.
I also had took a trip to sherwood forest for inspiration for the colour scheme and to gain more of a historical knowledge for the story. The brief I had set myself for this meant that the costume was made for an outdoor performance of the story of Robin Hood. This meant I had to make it hard wearing and weather resistant but still remain historically acurate.
